Hydraulic Test RIG system used to test the transformers. The application controls the system in conducting the test. Uploads the set of parameters to setup the initial values and set points. Once the test is started, the software scans the pressure and flow data to analyze the test. Online graph plots the flow vs pressure data online. Data communication is through Ethernet port and the hardware is GE-Fanuc PLC. The application software records the captured values and prints the graph and report. Advanced search options enable the user to browse through the records and compare the test results through graph.




Requirement
To test life of transformer tank by pumping the oil into the tank to create pressure to test the elasticity of the fins.

Software: Microsoft .NET C#2.0, INGEAR GE Link, XML, SQL Server Reporting Services

The Solution
GE Fanuc PLC is programmed to run the test sequence. Application software communicated to GE Fanuc PLC through Ethernet port to start the test and monitor the flow and pressure. Online graph is plotted 'Flow vs Pressure' for each cycle. The test is repeated for no. of cycles and data is stored into an xml file. The software has an option to search for test history and generate report for a specific cycle.
