Application is used to measure torque upon applying a constant load on fabricated material. As soon as load starts applying on a material, a small amount of torque will be getting and once it is about to drill through the material, torque will be reduced. Online graph is plotted for both normal load and torque with respect to time.

Hardware: RS 232
Software: LabVIEW

Application communicates through RS 232 to acquire load and torque with respect to time during the test. As soon as load starts applying on a material, a small amount of torque will be getting and once it is about to drill through the material, torque will be reduced. Online graph is plotted for both normal load and torque with respect to time. Along with load and torque the user parameters like drill diameter, speed, cutting speed and feed values are stored into an excel file for further comparison between tests.
